Happy 1-year Anniversary!

Molly the Mockingbird turns 1 today!

She had a busy first year flying around the SWFL Reading Festival, Three Oaks Elementary School, and The Little Picture Show (downtown Honolulu) before landing at MacIntosh Books & Paper, the Sanibel Public Library, and Paradise Vintage Market.

Since the island of Sanibel means so much to her, Molly was given a helicopter ride aboard an R44 over the island beaches. She waved to the lighthouse and all of her bird friends, plus several dolphins and manatees. In the cockpit with her was Skylark, the beautiful new release by my dear friend Paula McLain. It was definitely a bluebird day.
